Offshore Welfare facilities (Internal) -

The Good

10 internet computers, medium speed.
8 telephones (UK only).
Additional WiFi facilities have recently been added to the TV room.
Darts and table tennis. Bingo sessions weekly.
Large and well equipped cinema.
Gym.

The Bad

Food is considered typically average and lacklustre.
Cabins are basic.
Primative bridge control system (although this may be getting upgraded).
Bond does not sell duty free goods.

Offshore Welfare facilities (External) - 1 Smoke area is located in an annex container. 1 Tea Shack located in a long converted uncomfortable portacabin.
Their is an added emphasis on safety and the personnel who roam about on here are no exception.

Platform Emergency Drills - Evident and carried out weekly (usually on a Sunday).

Overview - Located in various sectors of the North Sea. This semi-submersible flotel is usually within sight of a few other platforms and FPSOs.

The oil company Dolphin Drilling is the owner and operator of this platform. Safety is taken seriously. The platform currently roams the the North Sea. Safety features include 3 of the standard issue 'Davit' lifeboat system
The primary contracting company that provides personnel for the oil platform is AMEC, Global, Wood Group and PSN. This review is valid as at August 2009.
