Minnesota is the 32nd state of the USA and the northernmost state on the eastern seaboard. It is a Great Lakes State.
The State of Minnesota is known for it's farming, paper-pulping and iron-ore mining.
It is a part of the USA that is home to one of the Great Lakes of America - Lake Superior.
Lake Superior being the largest lake for Minnesota the other lakes include Mille Lacs Lake, Upper Red Lake, Vermillion Lake, Rainy Lake, Lake of the Woods, Leech Lake and Lake Pepin.
The Islands nearby include the Isla National Park and Voyageurs National Park.
It's a large state with the state capital being St Paul and it's twin city being Minneapolis. It shares its borders Canada to the north , Wisconsin to the east and Iowa to the south.
