HAWAII

Hawaii is the 50th state of the USA and as an island state is far removed from mainland america. There are no nearby states. The closest one is California. Some often say that the Californians identifies with the islands mentality of socialism and liberalism.

The State of Hawaii is made up of seven main islands, the largest being Hawaii. The others are:

Kauai

Lanai

Maui

Mofokai

Nilhau

Oahu

The State of Hawaii is renowned for its tourism, fruit agriculture and the TV series Hawaii 5-0.

It's among the smallest of the states and the most recent. The population is just over 1 million. The state capital being is Honolulu. Contrary to what many think, the capital is located on the smaller island of Oahu.
