The Good

Has a mult-area rec-room with 3 internet PCs.

The Rec Room has a snooker table.
The food is usually predictable, edible. It varies through the week on a timetable fashion.
The entire Accommodation module is reasonably well ventilated via the HVAC system. Air is faintly blown in through the air con. The cabin's can be warm though.
Three telephones are available for calling home. Two are private, one is public (on the rec room level)
Connection speed is quite fast.
The non-smokers lounge plays films most nights. DVDs are available from the heliadmin.
A tiny stocked library with a poor selection of books.

The Bad

Cabins do not have ensuit showers and toilets. Showers and toilets are shared with the next-door cabin.
No quiet room.
Internet access card-accessible only (can be a fickle system to use).
Cramped heliadmin TV lounge
Gym is located outside the accommodation module.

Offshore Welfare (External) - Smoking shack area on the production platform. No smoking area in the boot locker area.
Unappetising morning break snacks. Afternoon snacks are decent though.
BLP platform (adjoining to the main WPP one) has a small tea-shack and toilet.
Skyscape system's in place on both platforms.

The mid-level management rule with a friendly, almost jovial mindset on this platform! Even the drill crew are amiable-types.
The upper level management tends to be uber-safety concious.

Platform Emergency Drills - Normally carried out weekly (usually on a Sunday).

Overview - Located close to the Scottish mainland this static platform is within sight of it's 'mother ship' the Captain FPSO and about the forties platforms.

The big oil company Chevron is the owner and operator of this platform.
The primary contracting company that provides personnel for the oil platform is Woodgroup and Salamis. The personality colour code-system is in use here (drill and deck crew only).
