Alabama is the 22nd state in the USA.
The State of Alabama is known for it's agriculture, hydro-electric power, mining and steel making. It's considered within the Southern Heartland of the old confederate states. It's motto being 'We Dare to Defend Our Rights.'
The Yellowhammer State has a few small lakes in Alabama including: Guntersville, Lewis-Smith Lake, Martin Lake, Lake Blackshear.
The coastal areas for diving are slight although Cumberland Island National Sea Shore is one spot worth exploring.
It's a small state with the state capital being Montgomery shares its coastline with the Gulf of Mexico. Neighboring states are Georgia and Mississipi.
It's dive sites are lakes, coastal, being in the Gulf of Mexico. Not many are known of.
